The Transit Tapes is a live music performance series filmed in Toronto, Ontario, produced by Orbyt Media and Temba Entertainment. Made possible by Astral Media Radio, “TRANSIT” aims to support emerging Canadian talent through a unique showcase that connects up-and-coming artists with the best local film, photography and audio talent.

Similar projects like Vincent Moon’s Concerts a Emporter + La Blogotheque, 3Voor12 and The Black Cab Sessions out of London England are obviously a huge inspiration for our series. Our goal is to create as authentic and rich a live music experience as possible. That’s why we’ve committed ourselves to the ‘one take’ approach that The Black Cab Sessions has so successfully employed. It creates a real partnership between the bands and our crew; everyone wants to create the best possible take and we feel that each Transit Tape reflects this harmony.

We are joined as well by Rob Scarborough on 2nd camera and Finn O'Hara as our staff photographer.
